Description
Trans means to cross - a shift, a transformation, a change. Transition is that act of moving from one state to another, stepping over a line or border into something new. Sometimes it happens in ways we expect, and sometimes in ways we don’t. I think of the caterpillar becoming a butterfly - an extraordinary leap from one form of life into another. To me, that is what transition is about, and it feels as though the whole world is in that place right now.

I sense we’re standing in a pause, a moment before inevitable change begins. The question is - do we have a choice in how we step into this new reality? Or are we carried forward regardless, into unfamiliar ground, a “new normal” we can’t yet define? I don’t know the answer. I only know I hope choice is still part of it.
